4 Sunday - November 1973
Twenty-first Sunday after Pentecost - 308th day - 57 days to come

At Barbara's request taught CANASTA to her and Dave. Played 4-hand including BB. Dave didn't care for it.
Played a couple of games of SHAPE & SHA POP-SHAPE-AND SHATTER, and then 3-hand with Dave, Susan, and me.
There didn't seem to be any need for the rule that when the player who held the "block-buster" threw a throw that would lead to taking the "block-buster" he gets a free choice.

Sunday TIMES had an ad by "Childcraft Center" for ART DARTS which uses Velcro for sticking. It is listed in the childcraft catalog I rcd. [received] on 10/2. I'll have to tell Felicia because of KUNG FU STARS (see 10/23). (Discarded ad.)
Ad for "Collectors Guide", a British antique magazine. Subscriber's can get various special offers, one of which is:
Three Victorian Games & Pastimes. A beautiful boxed set of three facsimiles of famous Victorian parlour games and pastimes: LITTLE HENRY, the BRITISH SOVEREIGN GAME, and the HISTORICAL PASTIME GAME - all rare collector's items. Issued in gold-blocked library box. Limited Edition of 1000, $18.00 postpaid (Discarded ad - only the box pictured.)

At "Corner Distributors" bought an IPC calculator for $74.95.

Tried to work on SLEUTH feature, with little success.

Call from Claude. He may come over tomorrow to pick up ECLIPSE. Told him I'd have a check for him for EXECUTIVE DECISION.
