Worked out more SHAPE AND SHATTER solutions and recorded them.
Wrote up the rules for the game , calling it POP-SHAPE-AND SHATTER.

Rcd. [received] NOST-ALGIA #162 Mitch Phil Cohen discusses SECRET WORD and PENTOMINOES. Betza describes WEEK, LE JEU DES PIONS, and WEAK!. Bill Rawlings has PENTOMINOES variations, including OPEN PENTOMINOES, CONTACT, ANTI-CONTACT, TERRITORY-LET, ANTI-TERRITORY.

Call from Bob Gellman. He rcd. [received] a letter from the publishers of CONFLICT Magazine. They will cover PATTON in their "games rcd. [received]" column. They already have a req question on the list price. Bob wants to send the price to all of the people and asked me to return the list. I'll do it tomorrow.
PATTON & HOLIDAY will both be in the F.A.O. Schwartz catalog and the Brentano's catalog. He had to pay $850 for the latter. I brought up my demonstrating the games at Brentano's. He'll see about setting something up. Possibly my demonstrating all my games while he demonstrates the R.G.I. line.
He asked if I had started MACARTHUR. He'd like the battles I will use by Jan. 1. Said I'll have them.

Called Claude. He spoke to Felicia about his idea of adding more solutions to ECLIPSE. She said she wants it to go together with my game (POP-SHAPE-AND SHATTER) and just to add a note that he can include more solutions. Arranged to meet at Metropolitan Book Store at 10 tomorrow and then go to Kohner together.

Call from Felicia. Depressed. She hears rumors that 3M is trying to sell off the games. (She mentioned this a few weeks ago.) BALI is down about $20 from last year.
She heard from Hans Goldschmidt. He is doing children's things again and wants her to handle him.

When I started to draw up the POP-SHAPE-AND SHATTER solutions (24) saw that I couldn't be ready for tomorrow morning. Contacted Claude and changed meeting to Weds. at 10.

Bob Gellman in his call told me he was preparing a letter with the quantities sold so far on PATTON (about 300 I think) and HOLIDAY (less). He asked who should get the original and who the carbon. Told him original to me and carbon to Felicia. He'll send the money all to me. We'll get it in December. Felicia later told me that he had said it to her. It's O.K. with her.
