SIXTEENTH SUNDAY AFTER PENTECOST * 273RD DAY * 92 DAYS TO COME

Put TOGETHERNESS into a hosiery box and covered the written parts with black contact.

Listed the following games to check the list prices at 200 5th Ave. tomorrow: - MANHUNT, WHODUNIT, COOKS TOURS, MONEY CARD, OPTILE, MASTER MIND, EL GAME.
Went over a few sources - mainly MOVES mag. [magazine] - and prepared a list of magazines for Bob Gellman to send PATTON to: - STRATEGY & TACTICS (Martin Campion), ANSCHLUSS (Joseph Autosiak - see 6/24), THE GAMESLETTER, PANZERFAUST, ALBION, CONFLICT, THE SPARTAN SIMULATION GAMING JOURNAL, BATTLE FLAG. Also suggested that HOLIDAY be sent to THE GAMESLETTER and ALBION.

Earl called. His friend Peter is involved in some kind of a simulation GAME to be played on 10/14, using a computer. Earl will join it and asked if I'd be interested. Told him I was interested, but can't commit myself until he could tell me more about it.
There was an ad in the TIMES for an "Administrative Ass't. [assistant] to an executive in Adult Games - to travel with him. Plush Super-plush surroundings. $190 a week." Earl asked if I would be interested. No. He called Wald before. Not in, and Earl left word for Wald to call him.

Prepared a package with MOVES #1 thru #10 and S & T #36 and #37 (filling out the manilla envelope) to sell send to Pierre.

Players in turn draw a card which presents a problem and a reward for solving it (movement ahead and for money) or a penalty for not. Player can pick the man they will used - based on the reward and penalty and on the fact that all men must be brought around the track. Players can hire away a good man from an opponent if that man stops in his corporate headquarters (three spaces that each of the four players has on his side of the board and which also set the start and finish for his men). PlayersMen can be sent to school to improve their efficiency, moving them to the next outside track. Didn't get the victory conditions involving the race and the money. (I pointed out that this one, in contradiction to the first game, could be used as a commercial game since it is not a question of knowing the information on the cards. They did not seem much interested in this.)
