Had some new ideas for my [square, diamond, circle] game - tentative name TOGETHERNESS. Two or three play. Each takes a symbol. Take one pc. [piece], blindly, at a time and play it. Must touch at least two other pcs. After all pcs. [pieces] down score + for largest group of own symbol, and - for second largest. When make a line of 4 of any symbol get another turn. Possible variation - when all the pcs. [pieces] are down players in turn can move a pc. [piece] from one position to another, as long as the pc. [piece] in new position makes a line of 4. Tried it by myself and seems O.K.

acting as an agent for getting BRIDGETTE manufactured. Graeme didn't give him any figures but Djoli got the impression that G&P was not doing too well.
Djoli spoke to me about letting Phil run "Gamut" and he seems to be taking the new setup well.

On subway read A TOY IS BORN, about half of it.

Rcd. [received] Sept. [September] PLAYTHINGS. Ad for SPLIT (sent card for info). Ad for JOTTO by S&R. Showcase had ROLLER COASTER by M.B. Classified ad asked for distributors for POLICE STATE. Feature article on games included, among others: ON-WORDS, QUERIES 'N THEORIES, THE GODFATHER GAME, QUADTRIPLE, JOTTO, MATOCA, KOASTER, MONEY CARD, BILLIONAIRE, KGB, THE MONEY GAME, UP 'N ON, SHIFT, PERFECTION, GOTCHA!, POP CHECKS, FOOTBALL STRATEGY, CHALLENGE FOOTBALL.
Rcd. [received] "Creative Publications" 1973 Catalog. Contains many interesting books and game equipment. Looked at the models and rules for SHAPE AND SHATTER and TOTALLY--. Decided that I had to have part of the latter retyped.
