Made a diagram - 2 actually - for a completely new version of WINDFALL. Got 7 repros [reproductions] at Boston Post Road. Played with BB, allowing a player to buy up to 3 shares of any stock, mixing if desired. BB thought that she could only buy stick in the company that she changed in value. I changed it to allow buying either of the 2 dice, and only can buy one company - up to 3 shares.
Played in the evening with Phil & Annette, Phil liked it. BB and Annette thought it was too cluttered - the sheet that is.

During day got a call from {Chris Linville [address]

He got my name and number from Cathy Greenblat (see 8/29). He has a game he calls PHAROAH which he wanted advice on marketing. It is played on a hexagon made up of 78 [triangle]s (?) and is a variation of CHESS. 2 play, each having 18 pieces - 2 extra being added. Tried to tell him that there was no chance. He might want to put it out himself and I told him that I'd review it if he sends me a copy.
The operator asked him for $1.60 more and he hung up. The operator asked if I'd accept the charges. I told her certainly not. I gave her his [illegible crossed out] address.

Earl called to apologize for breaking the NETRESULTS pcs. [pieces] last night. Forgave him. (Later learned from Claude that he had suggested Earl do it.)

Phil has a date next Monday to go over the p&p games that Carl didn't see yet. He will call me this Friday when he prepares his presentation. It will include LAND BARON, WINDFALL, END OF THE LINE, INVESTIGATION, and the new versions of SPACE STATIONS and THE GREAT RACE (RALLY).
