Call from Felicia. She rcd. [received] a letter from Kathy Brooks. They are returning SPECTRUM. It has too much "mechanisms." She thinks there is a good game idea if I can get rid of some of the "mechanisms."
She spoke to Hallmark (who?) and they are going to try and get more than the $1,000 for holding my RED LETTER, ANOTHER, DIGIT, PE-LING, and TROMINO GO. The greatly appreciate her cooperation in the entire matter.
The puzzle-game orders are "going great guns" altho they are still not ready to ship.
IMPULSE is being returned separately. She forgot to ask them about TOTALLY--.
I suggested that TOTALLY-- would fit in well with Parker's format for GRAPPLE, BOGGLE, and FLUSTER, even tho Felicia said that Parker had previously rejected it. She said that the 3 word games were not doing well - in fact none of Parker's new things are doing well.
She asked if I had heard from Bob Gellman. She hasn't. Told her I'd call him. Did. Not in and left word for him to call me.
