Rcd. a letter from Kees Vanes with more info on
BIRD, FISH AND FLOWERES. Also offering me 50% of that and
[illegible]
Rcd. [received] G&P #16, the one with SIGMA FILE, THE PHILOSOPHERS' GAME, etc.
Rcd. PLAYTHINGS (Aug.). "Showcase/Toys" listed ODYSSEY, the Magnavox
TV game, and a new game called INTERPLANETARY VOYAGE.
Rcd. a letter from Graeme Levin asking me to become an (unpaid)
consultant for G&P.
Rcd. a letter from "Lowry Enterprises" advertising the "Down East
Wargamers Convention." Among the games to be played are
FIGHT IN THE SKIES, STALINGRAD, QUEBEC 1759, DIPLOMACY,
DON'T GIVE UP THE SHIP.
Another letter from "Lowry Enterprises" reminding me that my
PANZERFAUST subscription had expired. Also enclosed a catalog
with ads for the following booklets: CHAINMAIL, FAST RULES, TRACTICS,
HARDTACK, DON'T GIVE UP THE SHIP, GROSSTAKTIK, IRONCLAD; and the
following games: FIGHT IN THE SKIES, THE INVASION OF SICILY,
ALEXANDER THE GREAT, DUNKIRK, THE BATTLE OF FRANCE, ATLANTA,
ALEXANDER'S OTHER BATTLES, OPERATION GRIEF.
Called Phil Orbanes. He was sick yesterday and didn't see Carl Eisenberg. That is why, he said, he wasn't in a good mood when I dropped in Wednesday. I asked about the games, 6 of each of REALM, CARTEL, MONTAGE, INFINITY, and BRIDGETTE, he said he was sending me. He already put in the request and will check on what is holding it up.

Claude bought me a book (on American art in 20th Cent. [century] for $2) as a thank you for pushing him to submit DUEL.
