When I called BB she told me that <u>Felicia</u> had called. Went

<br>She had a long talk with <u>Bob Johnson</u>. Bob is going to
have a long talk with <u>Jim Goldsberry</u> and try to get "holding
money" for the following: <u>PE-LING</u>, <u>ANOTHER</u>, <u>RED LETTER</u>,
<u>TROMINO GO</u>, <u>DIGIT</u>, <u>DUEL</u>, and <u>TRIAGO</u>.
<br><u>WINDOW PAINS</u>, <u>TOTALLY</u>, <u>TRIPLE CROSS</u> are being sent back. Also
<u>COUNTER-INTELLIGENCE</u>, <u>PITFALL</u>, <u>INDIAN CHESS</u>, and <u>IMPULSE</u>.
<br>I asked about <u>SHAPE AND SHATTER</u> and she'll check with Bob Johnson
when he reports to her, probably at the end of next week.
<br><u>TROTTER</u> is in production, as a sample of that type of game.
They are running into problems, a lot of them, with the pieces.
I asked about the check for <u>HONORABLE RELATIONS</u>. She spoke
to Bob about it and he'll check with Burt.
<br>They are keeping <u>PLANES</u> & <u>FOCUS</u>, but there is "still time to
run" on the original advance.
<br>Gave Felicia the contract form that <u>Bob Gellman</u> gave me (for
<u>PATTON</u>) with my comments penciled in. She'll follow up on it.
<br>Took the rules for <u>MAGIC WAR TRAILS</u> to read at home. There is
no hurry since she is not showing anything to Hallmark until all
the present things are settled.
To "Gamut of Games." Returned <u>G&P</u> #16 to <u>Phil</u> (after making
<s>some</s> copies of the following: <u>THE SIGMAN FILE</u>, <u>NOVA</u>,
<u>THE PHILOSOPHER'S GAME</u>, <u>ARITHMETICAL CHESS</u>, and
<u>GAMES WITH PAPER & PENCIL</u>.
<br>Phil has become a member of <u>THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF GAMES</u>
(see 7/3) and had their catalog. They had a good selection
of games but nothing that I didn't know of. They don't
have any 3M games. They say that they will be handling
the Simulations Pub. I. games.
<br>Took back the board for <u>CREDIBILITY GAP</u> that Phil had borrowed
as a guide to preparing their games.
<br>Phil had two girls and a fellow there for game testing. We
tried the following: <u>THE GREAT RACE</u> (4-hand with Phil staying
out), <u>END OF THE LINE</u>, <u>INVESTIGATION</u>, and <u>SPACE STATIONS</u>
(with different combinations of 2 players, Phill and I staying
out). <u>SPACE STATIONS</u> was the most popular with the players. We
tried to come up with a new name but without success. There
