BB Tried EVEN WORSE. Got hooked on it but didn't solve it.

Brough the copy of NINETACTOE that Annette Laurence asked for as a replacement for the one Elaine used as a present.
Played p&p games with Phil: INVESTIGATION (won), SPACE STATIONS (won twice), END OF THE LINE (won all three on the sheet).
Played RALLY, the 4 of us. While no one thought it was great, it was definitely better than last time we played it - as LAPS!.

Later thought of some new ideas to give the trailing platers a chance. The leading player does not get another throw if he is not able to move. The trailing player gets two moving throws. This is for RALLY.
In SPACE STATIONS Phil suggested each player scoring for a line of 3 as he made it, rather than counting them at the end of the game which can be a drag.
Later thought of marking the two interior spaces of the field and prohibiting a player from occupying one of these until he has completed a line of 3.

During day got a call from Bob Abbott. He has heard from Graeme Levin about acting as his agent for EPAMINONDAS. He wants 50% and says that he has a perfect record in placing games. Told Bob that he hadn't placed AGOG.
Bob rcd. [received] the copy of GAMES WITH PAPER & PENCIL. The game ELEUSIS is stated to be developed from the card game ELEUSIS, but without crediting Bob. Players in turn try to write letters on the Quadrille field (how many different letters?) according to the rule set up by the player creating the rule. Bob mentioned - An "A" must be a knight's move away from the last placed letter. Scoring is similar, he says, to his original.
SUBTERFUGE is concerned with writing bribes. Didn't go into details, but possibly it is like THE SIGMA FILE. Both the book and the game were done by Eric Solomon.

Asked Phil about copies of the "Gamut" games to send to various people like Don Turnball and Don Miller and also some for my personal use. He'll send me 6 each of CAR-TEL, REALM, MONTAGE, INFINITY, and (I believe) BRIDGETTE. I took four more copies of MYWORD!.

Met Claude and spent evening with him. Gave him a copy of MYWORD! He said that Anne would like it.
