<u>EVEN WORSE</u>. <u>Dave Horn</u> tried it and got within 1 pc. [piece] of solving it
in quite a few different ways. He couldn't solve it, however, but
didn't want to quit trying.

In a store saw <u>IT'S KNOT EASY</u>, a <u>Marvin Glass</u> puzzle put
out by M.B. There is a 4x4 layout of plastic pcs.
with raised sections of a "rope." It is set up to make a
closed loop. They say that there are many solutions.
<br>Claude bought a game called <u>TEN-Q</u> at a thrift shop for 50¢.
I didn't think I had it so I took it and payed him in the
settling up we did. Told him I'd give it to him if I discover that
I have it. (Later discovered that I did.)
<br>Bought, at Strand Book Store, a book <u>FORMS OF PAPER</u>. And at
Sylvan bought June '73 <u>SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN</u>. Had article on computer <u>CHESS</u>.
