He is writing a piece (on adult games) He got a backgrounder from 3M
and then spoke to Jack Davis who suggested
he call me. Discussed, among other things, ACQUIRE,
EXECUTIVE DECISION, SLEUTH, and GO.
Called Jack Davis to tell him of the call. He'll get me a copy of the
clipping when he gets it. (I asked Nachman but he didn't seem
sure that he'd send it to me.)
I asked Jack about copies of MR. WHO? and STAC-TAC-TOE. He still
hasn't rcd. any.
Rcd. the report from Random House for AGOG. Only $6.51. But there is no mention of the reprint edition, or of the money I owe for the "Permission."
Put in the numbers on the RALLY layout. Drew up a layout for the
new SPACE STATIONS, with a 4x3x3 field. Drew up a layout for
my END OF THE LINE and for INVESTIGATION

Made a set for the PUZZLE of 7/31, and thought of the name EVEN WORSE. Dave Horn tried it and got within 1 pc. [piece] of solving it in quite a few different ways. He couldn't solve it, however, but didn't want to quit trying.

In a store saw IT'S KNOT EASY, a Marvin Glass puzzle put
out by M.B. There is a 4x4 layout of plastic pcs.
with raised sections of a "rope." It is set up to make a
closed loop. They say that there are many solutions.
Claude bought a game called TEN-Q at a thrift shop for 50¢.
I didn't think I had it so I took it and payed him in the
settling up we did. Told him I'd give it to him if I discover that
I have it. (Later discovered that I did.)
Bought, at Strand Book Store, a book FORMS OF PAPER. And at
Sylvan bought June '73 SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN. Had article on computer CHESS.
