I sketched it and it will be necessary
to do it similar to sketch. Nick suggested
putting hard numbers towards the inside.
<br>To add some skill to the game we tried giving
each player a set of numbers from 1 to 6. After
throwing the dice the player could switch one or more of the
dice to another number, crossing out the number turned to.
It just slowed up the game. I said that the game has
to be just one of luck, and fast moving in general. I suggested
an idea to avoid a player being stuck without being
able to move. After throwing the dice the player can ignore
the throw and instead move to any two adjacent spaces. Didn't
try it out.
<br>Called <u>Jim Dunnigan</u> and complained about my column being
dropped from #39. He was not particularly sympathetic but
when I offered to quit the column he said that although it
was vying with "Pass in Review" (which was dropped twice) for
last place, 70% of the readers still want both of them
kept.
<br>When I mentioned not being paid Jim said that I got
paid in games, both the Simulations and the others. Told
him the Simulations were not that important to me and he
said that the others still should make it worth my while.
