out of town this week.
To <u>S&T</u>. Gave my column to Redmund.
<br>Spoke to <u>Jim Dunnigan</u> and he said that they are thinking again
about putting out a magazine <u>GAMES</u> in about a year. But he
didn't speak about my editing it. Instead he spoke about a
column from me and some centerfold games, but he intends to
do a lot of those himself.
<br>Beth called me in and told me that some company had tried
to buy out S.P.I. They don't want to sell out, but Beth is
preparing a proposal to try and get them to finance
<br>GAMES</u>. She went to 200 Fifth and, after being refused
any info in one place she went to another saying she was
writing a report for school. The fellow she spoke to said
she should get in touch with Sid Sackson. I asked and found
out it was room 514. It was probably Stan of Athol.
<br>Showed Beth the report from the seminar at the
<u>INTERNATIONAL GAME SHOW</u> and she reproduced it.
<br>She gave me a letter from <u>Donald A. Curry</u>, who is looking
for an 8-level <u>CHESS</u> variant invented by Ervin G. Kogbetli -
antz, and written up by <u>LIFE</u> Magazine in the early '50s.
