27 WEDNESDAY - JUNE 1973
178TH DAY - 187 DAYS TO COME

In Simpson's, Toronto, bought the following : - CHERCLES (which is the same game as DAFT DRAUGHTS) for $2.50. (Put out by Parker of Canada.). COVER UP for $3.98. (Put out by Parker of Canada.) (At home discovered that a piece was missing.)
WORD MAKING AND WORD TAKING (Spears) for $1.69.
Saw HARNESS RACING (Lowe), CHAOS (Parker of Canada, instead of Lakeside), HI-SPOT (Parker of Canada, instead of Pressman).
Saw WIDE WORLD (Parker of Canada) which seems to be similar to the game WIDE WORLD TRAVEL GAME that I have. The spaces (I believe) are smaller and there are more of them. There is
also a "Weather Guide." This is a plastic sheet that covers
1/4 of the board. With a certain throw (don't remember
what) the "Guide" is moved one quarter to the next quarter
clockwise. Any planes on it are carried along. If one is
now in the same position as one that was there before the
move, the one there is moved to an adjacent space.
