10 THURSDAY - MAY 1973
130TH DAY - 235 DAYS TO COME

Rcd. card from Don Miller. He rcd. the three games (STRATEGY I,
PHALANX, DARK AGES) I sent on 5/1. Also the seven copies
of MOVES. If not too late, he wants me to mention
that renewals to G&P are $8.50 and $16.00 - 50¢
higher than new subscriptions.
Rcd. the material I sent to Lech Pijanowski back on
THE PROPAGANDA GAME back, undelivered. (?)
Call from Odette Willis The material she sent to me on
L'ANNEAU ENCHANTE DE TOM TIT was returned to her. She
sent it to 1827 instead of 1287. She'll send it again.
Call from Bob Gellman. It looks like the buyer response to
PATTON is about 3 times that for HOLIDAY. For the histor-
ical material he'd like about 8 single spaced typewritten sheets.
As soon as Rick Lewis has the preliminary artwork ready on
the boards we'll including Bob Champer, get together to go over
them. 3 weeks from now if o.k. for rules.
Wrote to Don Laycock. Apologized for not writing sooner and
invited him to visit us when he is in the U.S.
With Claude & Anne to Dale's new apt. Noticed that Phil had
a few copies of DIPLOMACY. I asked and he'll send me a copy
from Simulations.
At Claude's played 4-hand SPECTRUM using the ideas of last
night and from the notes (in old diaries) I looked at last
night. Claude didn't like the idea of each player
having a different color set-up since it made it harder to
play defensively. He also suggested removing the towers
as they were completed so that things didn't get so con-
gested.
Gave Claude the check for his share of 1st quarter
EXECUTIVE DECISION royalties.
Claude suggested cutting the corners off some sizes of the
SPECTRUM pieces so that they can be easily identified.

p&p games. I took a sheet with the rules of the 5 of them:-
WORDPLAY, VEGAS 13, CHINESECHEK, NINE TACTOE, DAM-IT! They are
sold $2 each or $7 for a package of all 5. We get 4¢ for
each individual game. By proportion we should get 14¢ on the
package. Carl suggested giving us 10¢, Phil will try for 12¢.
Phil said that TURNABOUT was done by Gini Scott
