Rearranged part of the "game room." Took the 4 "Bekins Boxes" from under the table and put together 8 new ones, and put them against the narrowest shelfs.

Wrote to Earl Doherty. Invited him, Alfons, & Martindale here on 5/20. Mentioned KGB, CHESSWORD, and THE GREAT DOWNHILL SKI GAME.
In thinking of possible things to show them thought of SPECTRUM. Looked over my notes, thought of starting the game with the towers inverted - the large one on top.

Stopped by. Took their card. I can buy 36 boxes of 200 chips - 10 colors - for 70¢ each. (Later spoke to Claude and he'd like 12 boxes.)
- To lunch with Marvin Kaye and 2 fellows who read his book A TOY IS BORN. They are interested in marketing a toy, or in licensing it. Talked in general about the problems involved. Ate at Japanese Restaurant.
