23 MONDAY - APRIL 1973
113TH DAY - 252 DAYS TO COME
Called Felicia (she was just about to call me). Told her
about 3D BOXES. She called Stanley Harfenist and then called
me back. Date Friday, and he'll let us know the time later.
Thinking about my next S&T column.
Called Mike Albers and asked about copies of BILLIONAIRE,
BOGGLE, GRAPPLE, and FLUSTER. They are not in production
yet. (I have glossies of these and WATERWORKS in the
Toy Fair Press kit.) The list price of WATERWORKS is about $3.50.
Called Zeke Rose and asked for glossies of TRAP, AUCTIONEER,
and DEAR ABBY, particularly the first. Also asked the
list prices. He'll call with them tomorrow.
Called Harper & Row to ask for a review copy of
SCARNE'S ENCYCLOPEDIA ON GAMES. I have to write to:-

Rcd. THE GAMESLETTER #56. Article on ALIEN SPACE by Louis
Zocchi. Article on WARLORD by S.K. Howard. Notice of a
change in the price of G&P subscriptions.
Sent Frank Ambruster a note telling him the new
subscription rates offered by Don Miller.
In THE GAMESLETTER there was an ad for COUP D'ETAT (is
this the one by Jerry D'Arcey or B. Sheildhouse?) for $2, and
OPERATION GREIF for $1.00.
(cont. from 4/24) [4/24]
Played Lakeside's 3UP alone and with BB. Found that it has to
be played 2-hand or 4-hand partners to be meaningful.
Wrote to Brian Libby about COU D'ETAT and OPERATION GREIF
(See 4/23).
Layed out two illustrations for 3D BOXES, for the instructions.
(cont. from 4/25) [4/27]
At the Lakeside office took (with Karen's permission) a copy
of the March 5th TOY & HOBBY WORLD. There was a piece on
A TOY IS BORN; a piece on Pressman expands into "Hot Adult
games - BACKGAMMON, PACHINKO, KALA, GO, TRI-OMINOS.
