BOTH DAY - 285 DAYS TO COME

Had some new ideas for determining losses in the PATTON battles. Each
double causes a loss, or a 6 in case of one die.
Started on the map of "Sicily" for PATTON.

Called Tom Anderson who sent me a fan letter [illegible strikeout] which I rcd.
on 2/8, and another that he sent to S&T which I got on 3/9. His wife
was [illegible strikeout] having a baby and I left my number with the baby sitter.

Ken Morgan called. He will see Bob Gellman to talk about MOVIE MOGULS.
He still hasn't gotten his royalties for last year.
I told him about PATTON and that I had gotten an advance, not
big - but something.
Ken said he has some ideas for GAMEs which he'd like to have me
work on with him. He has to leave town Sunday. He'll call Satur-
day to tell me about his meeting with Gellman. And we'll get together
in the middle of April when he gets back.
He heard from the people at Brentano's and F.A.O. Schwarz that
Bob Schneider had committed suicide because he had stolen from the company.
Urban Systems came up, and I mentioned that I had heard that
their stock issue had gone thru.

Bob Champer called. He has the "Bulge" variation of PATTON ready
to try. Made date for Saturday. Told him of my changes in using
the dice for battles and he agreed that something was needed.

Claude called. Tomorrow he may have his "Nostalgia" GAME
ready. I told him about Gini Scott's NOSTALGIAand suggested
the name REMEMBER WHEN? He doesn't think it would fit. I'll see
tomorrow.

BB bought 3 sheets of thin white cardboard for me at Cross County.

Rcd. the package that Lech said he sent. Contained REGATA, PLUS-MINUS,
UWAGA ZWYCIEZA (a HALMA variation), LOT NA MARSA,
KONIK MAX (Lech sent me rules in English). Also a book with rules
and playable boards for 50 games (95% of which Lech said I should
know) - 50 GIER NA KOLOROWYCH PLANSZACH (50=PIATY). The games
