2 TUESDAY - JANUARY 1973
2ND DAY - 363 DAYS TO COME
Rcd. call from
{Odette Willis
{[Address and phone number omitted for privacy.]
who is a friend of
{M. Lucien Vittet
{[Address omitted for privacy.]
who got my number from Pierre Berloquin. Vittet is the
inventor of LE JEU DU 420 and is interested in finding
an agent for it in the U.S. He also has some other games of his
that he'd like to place. Odette has English models of all of
them.
I called Felicia (service first and then at home). She is
interested in LE JEU DU 420, tho she is doubtful about placing a word game. She also said that the new editi version of
FIRE ISLAND LINGO is much better than the original. She'll show it to me. Agreed on a meeting at her place Friday at 2:00 P.M.
Called Odette and told her of the date. She'll bring all the models,
even if she has to take a cab.
Downtown. To "Gamut of Games" and spoke to Phil.
I asked about the game TOP SECRET. He looked for the rules when he was home in Cleveland and definitely can't find it. He thinks he remembers it well enough to tell me how it plays.
He spoke to Carl Eisenberg. They will pretty surely be coming out
with one set of about 5 p & p games - WORDS FOR THE WISE, CHINESE CHECK, etc. but doesn't know exactly when. Will retail for $2 each or a set of 5 for $6, which seems a little out of line.
Carl told Phil that he heard that 3M was going to really push
the games this year, but if they don't go over they will drop them.
Phil showed me a new edition of CLUE. The graphics are more adult
but the game is the same.
