351ST DAY - 15 DAYS TO COME

Rcd. THE GAMESLETTER #46. Mentions that the game
GALACTIC FLEET is still under development. More
CHESS game from the big match.
Rcd. a card from Warren Buell with a note mentioning,
among other things, G & P.

Made another board for THE BRAIN GAME. Put contact on the
back of the cards.

Visit from George & Dorothy Bredehorn.
We played around with his DOODLE BUILDER. There is a
"doodle gun" with a magnet mounted somewhat as shown.

[Diagram of a polyhedral shape with an item on the left end saying "magnet".]

When the trigger is pulled the magnet is
pulled up inside so that anything that is
being carried is knocked off.
There are a number of different shaped
"building blocks", some with steel insert, other without. A
piece without an insert can only be handled by using one
of 4 "tools" provided.
There is a "base" on which structures are built and
2 sets of cards - one easy and one difficult - with structures
to be built. No piece can be touched by hand.
A 3-minute timer is set after the player has assembled
all of the pieces for the structure he draws and he
thinks about it for a reasonable time.
A player gets 10 points for completing the structure.
He loses 3 points from the 10 for each piece not in place.
If not completed the next player uses the same card.
I looked at his RISK - IT but we didn't get around to
playing. There are a series of cards with dashes and

squares in different
arrangements. There are also sets of single letter tiles
and 2 - letter combinations. Each player gets a betting disc,
with numbers from 0 to 20 (I believe).
One of the "layout" cards is turned up and the spaces
are randomly filled with single letters or 2-letter combinations, placed face
down Players then decide who they believe they can make a
The spaces marked with an "x"
are then filled with face up letters (or I guess
in some cases letter combinations). Players decide whether
they think they will be able to form a word once the
face down tiles are faced and bet anywhere from 0
to 20 points that they can. The player who bets the most
has the first chance to form a word (so that if only one
word is possible he will win. The same word cannot be used
again.)
Players start with 100 points and most points after a
set number of rounds is the winner. (Fairly complete idea.)
RED LETTER came up and BB and George wanted to play. Would
