Going thru [through] the games I might use for my next to S&T
Going thru [through] the games I might use for my next two ''S & T''
columns: - BEAT DETROIT (have a glossy), THE HOWARD HUGHES GAME
(have a glossy), MYWORD! (get glossy from Phil Orbanes), IMAGE,
BLOCK 'N SCORE (wrote to Gary Shirts for a glossy; also asked
if he had any simulation games suitable for my column.)
U.S. AUTO CLUB RACING GAME (wrote for glossy),
INTERNATIONAL SKI TEAM RACE (wrote for glossy), ARCHIEBALL -
which I'll have to write to Skor-Mor for. Remembered
that at Childcraft when I looked at it I saw that there
were 3 cards face up at each turn. If a player succeeds
in winning (by matching) a card he faces another card
and then plays again.

<s>While speaking ____ I ask</s> I called ''S & T'' to speak to Dale.
Not in but spoke to Red. My column the week after
X'Mas [Christmas] will be O.K.

Called Ken Morgan. Told him about meeting John Deegan on 12/8.
Ken is going to Florida next week. He'll call about setting
up a date when he gets back.

Called Eve Auchincloss twice to try and get a correction for
the STRATO TAC-TICS price into ''BOOK WORLD''. Didn't call back.
Called Claude to tell him that BB didn't want Earl to
come here until after X'Mas [Christmas], because of the big group on
the 24th.

Claude asked about the copies of THE BOSS and MASTERPIECE
I have loaned him. I told him he could keep them as long
as he wishes, but when he is thru [through] with them to return them.

Sent check for $1.35 for a copy of THE BATTLE FLAG and the
game NOVA (see 12/8).

Clipped ad for STRAT-O-MATIC PRO FOOTBALL from ''POST''.

Claude told me that 12 (I believe) branches of the
Queens Public Library have copies of ''AGOG''.
Claude gave a talk on games at a brunch last Friday.
He'll give another in about a month.
