game <u>SQUARRUMS</u>. It was simply the <u>PENTOMINOS GAME</u> as given in
<u>Martin Gardner</u>'s column, except that he told the readers to
draw up a 12 x 12 field and to cut the polyominos out of another
12 x 12 sheet of cardboard. He (<u>V.R. Parton</u>, that is) didn't give
the entire layout of the pieces, instead giving some sug-
gested quadrominos, pentominos, and hexominos and then tell-
ing the reader to set up their own.
