<u>SUBBUTEO TABLE SOCCER</u>, <u>KALAHA</u>, <u>IMPOSSIBALL</u>.  (Discarded rest
and filed games in '72 Misc.)
Michael took bus back to Paddington Sta.  BB and I to Claude Gill
book store.  Bought [illegible strikeout]
<u>''BATTLE! PRACTICAL WARGAMING''</u> (by Charles Grant, who also
wrote <u>''THE WAR GAME''</u> - see 10/20).  Also bought <u>''THE PAN BOOK OF CARD GAMES''</u>
thinking it was a later edition than the one I had.  (Later found
it was the same, but the old one had yellowed.  Put the new one in the
collection.)
I hotel was given a message from <u>Graeme</u> apologizing for not
meeting us today for lunch.  (Discarded.)

<u>George Bredehorn</u>.  Also a note from <u>Stan Chess</u>.  Among other
things has his puzzles <u>BOXWORD</u> and <u>LINKWORDS</u>.  Mentions
<u>CLUEWORD</u> and <u>REQUISITE</u>.

the subject in letters of the writing columns for <u>''G & P''</u>. <br>
Told <u>Graeme</u> that <u>Michael Dummett</u> (having been told by Michael
Wednesday) was annoyed about having sent in an article
on <u>CHINESE CHESS</u> and then having it ignored.  Graeme
said that his understanding was that Michael would submit
articles on card games as an authority.  But something
like <u>CHINESE CHESS</u> wouldn't automatically be accepted.  Michael
also had complained about some cards that Graeme
hadn't returned.  Graeme will contact Michael and clear
up their misunderstandings.

<u>Graeme</u> brought up <u>''AGOG''</u>.  He is working out a deal with a publisher
to do some of his things and they might well be interested in
including <u>''AGOG''</u> as part of the series.  I told him that since he
hadn't mentioned anything about it on Monday I had reentered
negotiations with <u>Colin Haycraft</u>.  He said I might miss the
initial items in the series by waiting.  I'll let him know as soon as I can
