of <u>MASTERPIECE</u>, <u>SIEGE</u> <u>(TROKE)</u>, <u>AFRIKA KORPS</u>. An ad by Philmar
(Ariel) for <u>WEMBLY</u>, <u>SOCCER BOSS</u>, <u>DIPLOMACY</u>, <u>GOAL</u>, <u>THE GAME OF "GO"</u>,
[illegible word crossed out] <u>THE GILLETTE CUP</u>.
No. 8 had article on <u>SPECULATE</u>, <u>PACHISI</u> (Great Games of the World) with a
variation called <u>CHONPA</u>. Short reviews of <u>REGATTA</u> and <u>PIT</u>. Ads by
Hamley's and Game Guild for <u>ACQUIRE</u> and other games. Ad for a
crossword game called <u>CRACK</u>.
Rcd. [received] <u>NOST-ALGIA</u> no. 151. <u>Phil Cohen</u>'s column is on <u>DYNAMO CHESS</u> and
[illegible word crossed out] <u>SCOTTISH MODERN</u> (by Bruce Troue). There is an ad
for <u>Alister Wm Macintyre</u>'s <u>OPERATION CONTACT</u>. Rules given for <u>PARITY</u>.

<u>Ennio</u> said that he saw my review of <u>AIRPORT</u> in <u>''S & T''</u> and
thanked me for it. <br>
He said that two games of theirs that are doing best
are <u>BEAT DETROIT</u> and <u>I CHING</u>. <br>
As well as the new games already mentioned they are coming
out with a line of roulette wheels, <s>chess, back</s> <u>CHESS</u>,
<u>BACKGAMMON</u>, the game of throwing dice and covering num-
bers corresponding, etc. <br>
When he saw <u>SKYSCRAPERS</u> he said it reminded him of <s>Ginny</s> <u>Gini
Scott</u>'s <u>NITTY GRITTY</u>. Told him that I also had a game and he
said there is a game with <u>NITTY GRITTY</u> - placing pcs. [pieces] until
