<u>Phil</u> and I signed the contracts for the p. and p. games with Hoi
Polloi. Later I remembered that there should be clause that we
were giving Hoi Polloi all rights, for Capital Gains. Phil will add it.
Also signed a form assigning our contract with Hoi Polloi to I-Q. (Have copy)
Another from approving the demise of "Operations Design Corp." (Didn't
get copy of this.) Also <s>sight</s> signed copy of I.Q. meeting minutes.
(Didn't get copy of this.)
The first six p. and p. games will be out about 1/1/73. They will
probably consist of the following:- <u>NINE LIVES</u> (definite), <u>COUNTERPOINT</u>
(definite), <u>PLOT</u>, <u>CHINESE CHECK</u>, <u>WORDS FOR THE WISE</u>, and either
<u>VEGAS 13</u> (<u>FRIDAY THE 13TH</u>) or <u>SOLITAIRE DICE</u>.
The second six will come from the one not chosen for first six
and the following:- <u>TRACT</u>, <u>NO WAY</u>, <u>MISSING LINK</u> (<u>CONNECTIONS</u>),
<u>XANDO</u>, <u>HEXOWORD</u>, <u>CROSSFIRE</u>, <u>SPACE STATIONS</u>. I'm to change
<u>MISSING LINK</u> to a completely abstract game before I go on vac-
ation.
In office looked at an article in <u>TOY & HOBBY WORLD<u> (Oct. 16, 1972).
<u>John Scarne</u>'s new rep is Vic W. Goldberg - [address].
His new book <u>SCARNE'S ENCYCLOPEDIA ON GAMES</u> will be published by
Harper & Row early in '73 [1973].
Phil gave me copies of his layouts for <u>WORDS FOR THE WISE</u>, <u>TRACT</u>
