Felicia called. She had some kind of a children's book (I think she did the writing for someone else's illustrations) and asked about my editor at Random House - if it was O.K. with me. Told her Fabio's name and number.

Started column for S & T. Wrote up EMPORER OF CHINA. Started POLY-Y.

Rcd. [received] a letter from Earl Perel. Nothing in particular about specific games.

Since it is getting popular again. They want to include some variations and I suggested TRIC-TRAC. Possibly I'll come up with some others. Phil said that the artist had redone the "Gamut of Games" logo using my suggestion of looking from above. It is much better. The things I have to do before I leave on vacation are:- Finish the rules for the Post games and get them to Herb Hochstetter. Make a new arrangement for MISSING LINK, and write the rules. Joel wants a letter from me with my opinion of REALM. I'll have the secretary type one when I go to the office to pick up the equipment for REALM. Phil said that I-Q had made some profits this year from the money Keller (?) had made for working on programs for Simultations. Phil gave me my copy of the contract for p & p games with Hoi Polloi.
