To Grey Advertising for meeting with <u>Phil Orbanes</u> | To Grey Advertising for meeting with <u>Phil Orbanes</u>, <u>Herb Hochstetter</u>,
<u>Lee Krest</u> and Lee's assistant - Peter? I showed
<u>THE ADD-A-LETTER GAME</u>, <u>SUPER-TAC-TOE</u>, <u>THE GO-ROUND GAME</u>, and
<u>THE PRIZE COLOR GAME</u>. Phil showed <u>ADVANCE</u> and <u>GOLD-DIGGERS</u>.
(He gave me his rules for these two games and for <u>STEPPING STONES</u>.
I took all the info for <u>GOLD-DIGGERS</u>, but didn't get the layout
of the cards for <u>ADVANCE</u>.)
In <u>ADVANCE</u> Phil has a "special card" for each player. His orig-
inal rule was that it could only be used once during a game. I
suggested that once both players had used theirs they could be
picked up and used again. Phil liked it.
In <u>SUPER-TAC-TOE</u> a few of them thought that the colors
were confusing. We'll make the 4 corners red too, eliminating
playing of black squares in the corners.
<u>Lee Krest</u> at first wanted to show <u>STEPPING STONES</u>,
<u>THE ADD-A-LETTER GAME</u>, and <u>SUPER-TAC-TOE</u> to Post. The others
convinced him that <u>THE GO-ROUND GAME</u> was great. I'm to have
the rules for my three finished by the middle of next week.
Lee and Peter were impressed with how I had changed two games
and came up with two others to meet their specifications. If
they have any other game possibilities they will call on me.
Lee said to be sure that the rules could be <s>read</s> under-
stood by children. They'll be presented as we write them to
a test panel of children. |
