Klara Karlan called. In TIMES Magazine section they saw an ad for
"Gamut of Games" and Bloomingdale's - for the games BRIDGETTE
and MY WORD! They said I should sue! Told them I knew about
the company, and might be working with them.
Made the equipment for SUPER-TAC-TOE, THE PRIZE COLOR GAME,
THE GO-ROUND GAME.
Finished up the following boards with the lettering:- AIR BATTLE,
SWORDSMAN, WILDCAT, THE GO-ROUND GAME, THE ADD-A-LETTER GAME.
Played SUPER-TAC-TOE with BB. She liked it but couldn't see to play it
well. I decided to add a rule that black spaces can't touch, even
at a corner.
Rcd. [received] a call from Irving Woods of Western Publishing ^(see 8/28) late in the
evening. Apparantly [apparently] he wanted to find out if WOMAN'S DAY had
found someone to do ONE AT A TIME BY THE MILLIONS. (He said
something about his girl trying to get in touch.) I told him that
no one had been picked yet - but that it looks doubtful whether
the project will go thru [through]. But for definite word to call Channing.
Claude called. He picked up a game MOVIE STARS which he wanted to
show me when I was there [illegible word crossed out] on Thursday. It turned out it
was the R.G.I. game that I already have.
He wanted to go to a Friday night session at Simulations [illegible word crossed out]. Told
him I was bringing my ''S & T'' column in <s>the following</s> this coming
Friday. Probably we'll meet there.

Ken will give me a call at the beginning of Dec. [December] about getting together.
Jack Davis called. He has a copy of IMAGE for me. Told him
there was no hurry since I had borrowed one from Felicia.
I'll pick it up when I'm in the nieghborhood.
By myself tried THE GO-ROUND GAME with my idea of 10/30.
Very dull.
Call from Arthur. He's contacting Wexler tomorrow about a pos-
sible date next week. Wanted my schedule.
