Rcd. [received] THE GENERAL (Sept. - Oct. 1972). A new edition of FOOTBALL STRATEGY is coming out. The basic game is identical with the former edition. There is now an advanced game too.

Rcd. two copies of the new packaging of BRIDGETTE. (It was sent first class, and was postmarked 9/4!!!)

Call from Graeme Levin . He was interested in getting a copy of PLOY, even tho it is not being sold in the U.K. Told him he could get it from Jack Davis. He would like two more copies of AGOG to show pub- lishers in the U.K. Told him I'd bring them Saturday. Don Turnbull mentioned that I had something for him. He probably meant THE NEXT PRESIDENT.

Called Random House. Fabio Coen not in and spoke to Fay Hartog bout publishing SOLITAIRE DICE as a proprietory [proprietary] game and about using some of the games in GAMES AND PUZZLES. She'll check on it and call me back.

Call from Arthur. He wanted me to come visit him. Promised that I would as soon as a [I] caught up. They have transformed OPEN CITY to a board. They didn't use hexagons, but a system of diagonals.(??)
