Rcd. [received] <u>''THE GENERAL''</u> (Sept. - Oct. 1972). A new edition of
<u>FOOTBALL STRATEGY</u> is coming out. The basic game is
identical with the former edition. There is now an advanced game too.
Rcd. two copies of the new packaging of <u>BRIDGETTE</u>. (It was
sent first class, and was postmarked 9/4!!!)
Call from <u>Graeme Levin </u>. He was interested in getting a
copy of <u>PLOY</u>, even tho it is not being sold in the U.K.
Told him he could get it from <u>Jack Davis</u>.
He would like two more copies of <u>''AGOG''</u> to show pub-
lishers in the U.K. Told him I'd bring them Saturday.
<u>Don Turnbull</u> mentioned that I had something for him.
He probably meant <u>THE NEXT PRESIDENT</u>.
Called Random House. <u>Fabio Coen</u> not in and spoke to <u>Fay Hartog</u>
about publishing <u>SOLITAIRE DICE</u> as a proprietory [proprietary] game and about
using some of the games in <u>''GAMES AND PUZZLES''</u>. She'll check
on it and call me back.
Call from <u>Arthur</u>. He wanted me to come visit him. Promised that
I would as soon as a [I] caught up. <br>
They have transformed <u>OPEN CITY</u> to a board. They didn't use
hexagons, but a system of diagonals.(??)
Call from <u>Claude</u>. He was at a station with a Magazine,
<u>''COLLEGE FOOTBALL''</u>. He couldn't take the magazine, but he read
me some advertisements for games. <br>
