<u>ONE AT A TIME BY THE MILLIONS</u> tomorrow morning.
<u>Felicia</u> called. Asked me for Mike Alber's telephone number again.
She asked me about G.A.F. I started telling her about
the latest on <u>JUNGLE RACE</u> and <u>VIEWLINE</u> but her other phone rang.
Played 3 and 4 hand <u>BONUS</u> by myself. Tended to be ties.
Thought of a variation of <u>XANDO</u> for use on cereal boxes-
later called <u>SUPER-TAC-TOE</u>. The board is as shown. [drawing of a 7x7 grid of squares. The corner squares are colored in green. The center square is red, and the 8 squares surrounding it are blue] There
are 5 black pcs. [pieces], 22 marked with an "X", and
22 marked with an "O". 2 play. They start
by alternately placing the 5 black pcs. A pc.
cannot be placed in the red space. Only one
pc. can be placed on a blue space. And only one
pc. can be placed on a green space. After the
black pieces have been placed the players alternate
placing X's and O's. Object is to get 4 in a row.
If X succeeds, he scores 1 point. If a draw,
O scores 1 point. If O gets 4 in a row he scores 2 points.
A simpler way would be to alternate first play and play
until one player gets 5 points (1 point for a victory by
either player), but must be two points ahead.

opponent's territory in 4 turns. He is trying for the same thing.
I suggested each player having 6 cards and using them one at a
time, but only once in a round of 4. Phil liked it.
I told him about my ideas for Post:- <u>TAKE-A-WORD</u>, <u>BONUS</u>,
<u>POST-HASTE</u>, and <u>SUPER-TAC-TOE</u>.
He'll come here sometime in the next week or so and we'll
go over all the games.
Preparatory to <u>Graeme Levin</u>'s visit (and in preparation
for future visits of a similar nature) I put most of the
duplicate games on the upstairs shelves into two of the
