20 WEDNESDAY - SEPTEMBER 1972 | |||
<br>264TH DAY - 102 DAYS TO COME | |||
---- | |||
<u>Felicia</u> called. She wanted me to be present when <u>Gary Sherbell</u> | |||
brings in his revised version of <u>TORTS- THE GAME OF LAWSUITS</u>, | |||
made the date for 9/28 at 1 P.M. | |||
She asked if I had any record of a game - <u>STONED</u>. The inventor | |||
has been after her but hasn't contacted her. He left $2 across | |||
the hall and wants his material returned. I told her that | |||
she gave it to me and that I'll bring it next Thursday. | |||
She got the rules for <u>PROFIT</u> and <u>PAYOFF</u> from across the hall. She | |||
hasn't rcd. [received] any word from American Greetings, and she is getting | |||
annoyed with them. | |||
She said that <u>Leonard Willett</u> likes me, and is particularly impressed | |||
with my game diary. | |||
She inferred that she might have to take me up on my offer to | |||
loan her money, but said it "would be a good deal for me." | |||
<s>She started asking me about GAF (and </u>JUNGLE RACE</u>) but her phone rang.</s> | |||
Rcd. [received] a letter from <u>Leonard Willett</u>. Thanked me for the $350 check | |||
and suggested sending the other $350 after I receive "the loot." | |||
Rcd. a short letter from an <u>''AGOG''</u> reader (or rather two) who are in- | |||
terested in the pitfalls involved in marketing a game. | |||
Tried a new version of <u>POST-HASTE</u>. Used the board and | |||
other equipment and setup of 9/9. A player moves a pc. [piece] the | |||
number of spaces equal to the number of pcs., including | |||
the one moving, that are in the space. The color of the space | |||
landed on indicates the player who plays next. Therefor a | |||
player landing on his own color goes again. If there are three | |||
playing the unused color gives the player landing there a- | |||
nother turn. Also after a player has brought all his pieces | |||
in that color becomes "wild." Played by myself. Then 2 | |||
hand ^with BB, one using green and blue, the other red and yellow. | |||
The 2 red and 1 yellow spaces in a row at the bottom right | |||
were too much of a handicap against the blue-green. I'll | |||
need a new arrangement, and probably about 16 spaces in- | |||
stead of 24. | |||
Call from <u>Claude</u>. Date Friday. A magazine he saw at work | |||
had reviews of some sports games. He'll try to get it | |||
for me. | |||
Call from <u>Gary Sherbell</u>. Confirmed the date for 9/28. He told | |||
me a little about the reasons for his changes, but I told him to | |||
hold onto them until we get together. | |||

file boxes in the room. // Tried new <u>BONUS</u> ideas alone. O.K. | |||
<u>Graeme Levin</u> here about 4, stayed for supper, and I | |||
drove him to White Plains subway about 12:30. | |||
Graeme brought me copies of <u>''GAMES & PUZZLES''</u> #5 and #6. | |||
