I asked about <u>THE GAME</u> and <u>POLYOPTOMY</u>. He said the games were
really nothing, but he'll send me the rules and description of
the equipment. (The company still hasn't paid for their ad.)
He can usually get as many copies of a new game as he wants.
He offered to send me the ones I want. I suggested
sending me the rules, etc. first and then I would request
certain that I need the equipment of. I also suggested taking
the postage out of my column payments. He agreed, since
airmail gets very expensive.
I showed him <u>Anthony Dicken</u>'s <u>A GUIDE TO FAIRY CHESS</u> and
gave him Anthony's address. At present, tho, he doesn't think
he'll go in for <u>CHESS</u> variants.
<u>Graeme</u> has two <u>GAME</u>s coming out with a company, big other-
wise, but just going into games. It must remain secret now.
The "Reader's Games" section in <u>G & P</u> is being discontinued. They
get hundreds of entries, but little of value, and even
there they have to do a lot of work on the games.
I mentioned that the description of <u>SPROUTS</u> had been too
