Worked out a new arrangement for <u>WAR AND PEACE</u> | |||
board with more spaces for drawing cards. Also | |||
eliminated specific countries in making and breaking | |||
of alliances. Covered old board with overlays, rubber | |||
cemented into place. Made new (but rough) set of W. & P. cards. | |||
Played with <u>Phil Laurence</u> and Eliott. Keeping armaments | |||
in each controlled country was rather laborious and didn't | |||
really add anything to the game. Later decided to | |||
eliminate control all together. Unowned countries only count | |||
when gaining or losing armaments or diplomats. Also | |||
when two play each has two countries. Probably also with | |||
three players. | |||
Called <u>Phil Orbanes</u>. He'll contact <u>Herb Hochstetter</u> and | |||
set up a date to discuss games for Post Cereals. I sug- | |||
gested Wendesday at 5. | |||
