Working on ''<u>BOOKWORLD</u>'' column.
Working on ''<u>BOOKWORLD</u>'' column. Did <u>4000 A.D.</u>, <u>DEALER'S CHOICE</u>,  <br>
<u>ON-WORDS</u>, and most of <u>TRIPPPLES</u>.  <br>
Saw that it was running longer than my previous columns.  <br>
Called <u>Eve</u> to check in. Not in and didn't call back.  <br>
 
<u>Philip Kaplan</u> came over with his puzzle <u>TACTICS</u>. (Told him  <br>
that the name had been used.) There are  <br>
4 levels in the puzzle: -  <br>
1) The 16 pcs. are placed as shown in the upper diagram, but with only the  <br>
colors and not the numbers showing.
 
[To the left Sid has drawn two diagrams. The upper one consists of 17 points (4 rows of 4 with an additional point at the exact center. Line segments connect the points with each other. Numbers are written in red, green, blue, orange, and black. The numbers range from 1 to 4.

Kaplan had me work on 1) myself.  <br>
Then showed me solution for 2) & 4).  <br>
Didn't stay long at all.
