Rcd. a letter from Tom Atwater with a check for $5.24, royalties
for ODD OR EVEN, TEMPO, and INTERPLAY. TRANSFORMATION is
still $210.70 behind on the advance,
Wrote to Lech inviting him to stay here when he comes to N.Y.
Mentioned PRZEWODNIK GIER and AGOG. also MAGELLAN,
STRATEGIE, & WHO IS THE MURDERER?.
Wrote to Bill Rawlings. Sent him a copy of NOUVEAX JEUX D'ECHEC INTERESSANTS
and begged off from the games of PROXIMITY CHESS and FOCUS for
at least a month.
Sent a postcard to Eric Nielson about ARROW LIFE, LIFE, and
LIFELINE.
Wrote a letter to Stephen Sniderman. Apologized for not being able to
test play CONTROL and FOOL'S GOLD. mentioned SPIRKLE, X-TRACT,
BLANKETY-BLANK, and NOUN-SENSE.
Fred Feucht called. He wanted to know whether I knew anything
about Bob Reiss' plans to put out p. & p. games for Hoi Polloi.
I told him that I did know something about the plans, but
that I preferred that he spoke to Phil Orbanes, as my agent.
Anything that they agree upon in connection with the 6 games
(XANDO etc.) that Bob Hallowell (who is definitely in bankrupcy)
has is o.k. with me.
Alex Cockburn of theLONDON TIMES called from Felicias's .
He'll come next Friday to interview me. Asked him if there was a
particular subject I should prepare for, but he said it was a general interview.
