5 WEDNESDAY - JULY 1972
187TH DAY - 179 DAYS TO COME
While I was at the bank BB rcd. a call from a Mr. Channing
of WOMAN'S DAY. I called when I got back,
but he was out of the office. Supposed to call back but
didn't and I called again late in the afternoon. Secretary
said he's call me tomorrow morning. Told her I was leaving at 10.
Called Bob Gellman and finally got him in. Told him of the
problem contacting Bob Schneider, about SCOTLAND YARD.
I told him that I had called him first, not collect, and then
he hadn't called back - this after Gellman said that
Schneider resented my collect calls.
Gellman said that probably SCOTLAND YARD won't be out this
year, but will be introduced in 1973 Toy Fair, so there
is no hurry. I suggested my going to the factory with
him sometime and play the game together. He liked the idea.
I brought up the cards for WHEELS and he'll check with
Schneider about getting me the info on the cards.

Brentano's - Koch in Chicago. He has been getting good
orders and it looks better for '72 than he originally figured.
Called Martin Gardner about ARROW LIFE. He was interested
in it, but
