remain, the same banker plays another round. If a
player makes more than one bet and doesn't lose
any of them in the first 19 cards he collects for all
the bets but leaves them ride, free, for one more
card turning, and may, of course, continue further.
A bet on two or more cards is considered a multiple
bet in this context (but how are the payoffs
figured?). (This game was enjoyed.)
rcd. uses a 5 x 5 layout. Players alternate in sliding and
object is to connect any two sides with a chain including at
least three blocks. He'll give me the letters when he gets back
and we get together.
Another call from Martin. He forgot to ask me if I knew anything
about a game THE DEADLY DOUBLE which was in a newspaper
article in 1967 (see 3/13/67). Told him I had something on it
but found it was very sketchy. He is mentioning it in a column
on coincidences. I was able to tell him it wasn't at all like
MAH-JONG. The clipping prior to the one I have stated that the
game didn't exist at all.

Phil Orbanes called and we talked for quite a while. He prefers
not asking Bob Hallowell for the 6 games (XANDO, etc.) that
he already has and instead to come up with 6 new ones
between us. he thinks we can do it it one brainstorming session.
He, and I agree, thinks we should have other
inexpensive type games as well as p. & p.
Bob Hallowell owes Reiss in the neighborhood of $20,000.
