Earl called. The daughter of the Japanese manufacturer will
be coming to the U.S. Earl asked if he could invite her
here to see my collection. Sure.
Earl is interested in getting games from manufacturers for use
in a game program he wants to set up at Albany College where
he is going this fall for his post-graduate work. Also for his
friend, Peter, who is using games with problem children.
I'll tell him who to contact.

3M has tried to get Parker to take over the line and to
get M.B. to pay them for discontinue it, both without success.
3M also hinted that they'd like Reiss to rep for
them, but Reiss ignored the hints. He is discontinuing
repping - with possible exception of Mag-Nif and building up Hoi Polloi.

Hoi Polloi is not competing with Parker or M.B. but
with the other small companies such as Pacific, Executive
Games, U.S. Game Systems with their Tarot Cards (and
Stancraft is moving into this too). with their 4 page
"stuffers" Hoi Polloi will get more and more of this
market. (I think that Earl said that they will be sending
out some 12,000,000 next year.)
