30 TUESDAY - MAY 1972
151ST DAY - 215 DAYS TO COME

Rcd. card from Phil Cohen thanking me for supplying him with
NOUVEAUX JEUX D'ECHECS INTERESSANTS.
Rcd. letter from Robert Bartles of Strategy House. He is sending
me copies of INTERNATIONAL SKI TEAM RACE and
WHICH WAY TO THE LODGE?.

Bob Gellman called sbout getting together to go over proofs of the
cards for HOLIDAY. Told him I'd call back.
Called Felicia about bringing SKYSCRAPERS to her. She won't be in
but I can leave it across the hall.
She had a letter from Bill Dohrmann and opened it. They liked
LOTTERY's theme and it was fun to play. But they have a
limited number of openings for board games and they have some
others that are stronger. I suggested M.B. but she didn't
think it was for them, but will show it if I insist.
She showed BEAT POLLUTION to M.B. and they liked it. But
they saw another game earlier that had a slight resemblance
and feel that it is fair to use that one if they use a game
of that type. I told Felicia about M.B. and STAY ALIVE and
DECISIONS, DECISIONS.
Called Jim Dunnigan and made date to come in tomorrow to discuss
my writing for GAMES & PUZZLES.
Called Bob Gellman and made date for tomorrow.
Called Earl about date tomorrow. He'll check with others & call me back.
Call from Felicia. Chuck Daugherty there and he noticed VENTURE on
the wall. He had a complaint about the rules and spoke to me.
His complaint was about the first, perfume box, edition. I agreed
with him but told him it has been corrected to close
to my original rules.
Made a date for me to visit him at the apt. he is staying.
Call from Carl Eisenberg in evening. He doesn't think that
Bob Hallowell will raise the money to keep Gametime alive. Carl
would like the p. and p. games (XANDO, etc.) for Hoi Polloi and
doesn't want me to give them to X.
