MEMORIAL DAY - JOHN F KENNEDY - BORN 1917 - 216 DAYS TO COME

Working on backlog in game diary.

thrown at any time it is left showing. Players bet at
each round of dice throws. At the end the players value is
determined by adding the three pegged numbers and
multiplying the sum by the original hidden number. If a [star] is
showing a hidden 1 is counted as a 6 (I suggested more -
such as 10). High value wins the bets.
FRANCHISE - (See 1971 diary).
PUZZLE without a name. I told Jerry it looked familiar. Later I
discovered it was the puzzle on page 30 of GAMES & PUZZLES #2.
Jerry is currently working on BANKLINE, a game about working your
way to the front in a line at the bank. Reminded him that banks
now generally have a system of taking people from one line - or
more and more are instituting this. He is also working on
COMMODITY and SMUGGLE - didn't go into details on these.
I showed himPAIR OFF and SKYSCRAPERS. I asked if he thought
that PAIR OFF would interfere with KU-FU. No.
Sale of Jerry's HOOKER, THE has just about stopped. PLUG-A-JUG
has been returned to him. He gets a few hundred dollars a year
from THE IMPUZZABLES.
