discs of each type. Each plays one secretly. Dog takes cat, etc. The
losing disc is out of the game. In case of tie both are out. Player loses
when he runs out of chips.
To Urban Systems. Gave the gal the ''S & T'' review of THE GODFATHER GAME.
To Dynamic Design. Chuck Daugherty was there showing his game
BEAT POLLUTION. There is a board showing different areas such
as a city, farmland, woodland, a river, and a lake. There are
multiple paths going thru the areas and converging on an island in
the lake which is the goal. A spinner gives the player either an "Ecology"
card (which is good) or a "pollution" card (which is bad). Players place
and take away pollution markers trying to block opponent's and clear
their own paths. Usually cards specify in which area markers are to be put
or removed. When a player spins "ecology" he spins again and
continues as long as he spins "ecology." A player may, however, choose to clear
markers from a different area than called for and give up his extra
turn (Fairly complete idea.)
Chuck suggested working together on developing games. I said
that if he has some themes I would be glad to supply the game. He
came up with PYRAMID based on pyramidding of franchise
dealerships (like chain letters). I wasn't too enthusiastic. He took
my card. I took his address:
Ennio Racinelli liked BEAT POLLUTION but wasn't sure
whether the theme was passe. He is having the model sent to California,
Took a copy of AIRPORT. They will send me BEAT DETROIT and
FEEL WHEEL. They gave me the copy of ''PSYCHOLOGY TODAY'' (May '72)
with FEEL WHEEL. When I mentioned that I only had the
magazine copies of THE CITIES GAME and BLACKS & WHITES GAME. Mrs.
Rucinelli said she'd send them. I also asked for glossies of
AIRPORT, FEEL WHEEL, BEAT DETROIT, EMPEROR OF CHINA, and
LIE, CHEAT AND STEAL!.
Ennio said that they often get a theme and have someone work it
out. WOMAN & MAN was an example of one they weren't
satisfied with. I said that I was good at working to an assignment.
They may send me themes.
Gave Ennio a copy of ''S & T'', (#31 I think - with WHO CAN BEAT NIXON?.
Met Felicia there, who was going out with Chuck. She was
