Bob Gellman had the art work for the HOLIDAY box. Looked pretty good.
Joel Gaines (or was it Jed?) asked me if I had seen the
American Greeting Card booths. They have a new line of games
on display, including one called UPON MY WORD which conflicts
with their MY WORD. He thinks they can sue to stop it.
Ellen Wood of Lenorka was interested in ''GAMES & PUZZLES
and I told her I'd bring the copies for her to look at. She was
displaying a fancy NINE MEN'S MORRIS set and I told her about it.
Took a folder with NINE MEN'S MORRIS, PILGRIM PUZZLE, and ATLANTIS.
To House of Games. Told Alfons Rubbens that the package with
4000 A.D., SPECULATE, and CHESSWORD just reached me so that only
the first could be in the Xerox exhibit.
They are not planning anything new for next year except for a
revised version of RAT RACE. Of course if I have something
outstanding they won't pass it up. He is interested in another
puzzle to go with BEAT THE ELF and KOLOR KRAZE. Told him
that I had one (SKYSCRAPERS) but that 3M was looking at it
tomorrow. If Jim Kraus doesn't like it I'll try to get it to
