17 WEDNESDAY - MAY 1972
138TH DAY - 228 DAYS TO COME
Rcd. May TOYS. Nothing of interest.
Called Bob Gellman about getting together tomorrow to check
HOLIDAY board. No answer.
Wally Siegel of G.A.F. called. He's going on vacation. He'll
call me towards the end of the month to set up a date for me
to bring him a copy of AGOG.
Playing around with PAIR-OFF. made a board for keeping
the chips in position. Played the game with BB and
we each wanted to do the solitaire.
Called Felicia and told Felicia about PAIR-off. I'll
show it for her tomorrow.
She met Dorothy Shapiro who again said how nice I was.
However, not much is selling at Brentano's except
their new arts & crafts dept.
(cont. from 5/18) [5/18]
think it would sell. Now Gini Scott's mediocre game NOSTALGIA
is doing quite well.
MASTERPIECE came up and Phil said a game just like it was
brought to Reiss before Parker put it out, except that it was
so elaborate that it would have to sell for $40 or $50.
Someone gave me a new board for the TSG LEIPZIG which
is the same as the old one except that some color has been added.
Phil has a new apartment and gave me the address:
{Phil & Anna Orbanes
{88-17A 53rd Ave.
{Elmhurst, N.Y. 11473
Rcd. a thank you letter from Mrs. Laraine Spalten to mine of 5/10.
(AGOG reader.)
Rcd. a letter from Phil Cohen. Thanked me for BOUNDARY rules.
Asked me to send NOUVEAUX JEUX D'ECHECS INERESSANTS to
a friend who would make repros for him. Asked for BUGS & LOOOPS
rules and new S & T columns. Sent me rules for PARITY,
BICOLOR CHESS, WILD CRASH, and UNCRASH.
