Started a letter to <u>Robert E. Horn</u> thanking him for sending me  <br>
''<u>THE GUIDE TO SIMULATION GAMES FOR EDUCATION AND TRAINING</u>''.  <br>
 
Did most of the work on preparing boards for marking  <br>
sorted data cards in <u>COMPUTER BINGO</u>.

To pacific games. Spoke to <u>Jerry Kale</u> about the game business in  <br>
general. The cost of materials is skyrocketing and he has a lot of  <br>
trouble finding substitutes. Most of his items are developed in  <br>
nouse but will look at other items. He prefers a "group" of items  <br>
rather than a single item. He brought up <u>Gini Scott</u> and the way  <br>
she goes from manufacturer to manufacturer peddling the same  <br>
wares. He thinks it better if a free-lance limits the number of  <br>
companies he works with.  <br>
Took a review copy of <u>DIMENSIONS</u>. He suggested <u>SPACE CHESS</u>  <br>
and told me it was different from the other 3-board <u>CHESS</u>  <br>
games. I took a copy. Also took acopy of <u>MAGNATRIX</u> which is  <br>
not a game but the kind of novelty he'd like to get more of.  <br>
He was interested and I promised to send him the address  <br>
of ''<u>GAMES & PUZZLES</u>'' Magazine.  <br>
He had a puzzle, <u>CHAOTIC CUBE</u>, which I remembered seeing  <br>
under another name. He didn't think so. Later found it in 1970  <br>
diary under name <u>QUIXOTIC DICE QUBE PUZZLE</u>, put out by Pacific.
 
Rcd. a letter from <u>Larry Blandin</u> who wrote tome at the  <br>
suggestion of <u>Al Nofi</u>. He sent me information concerning the  <br>
<u>INTERNATIONAL GAME SHOW</u> in Chicago on 7/22 and 7/23.  <br>
The I.F.W. and <u>DIPLOMACY</u> seem to have something to do with it.
