6 SATURDAY - MAY 1972
127TH DAY - 239 DAYS TO COME

Was going to prepafe new material for my new ideas for DATA
but found that I had prepared cards and black markers for
the original set. Colored the symbols on the "address cards" for easier
identification and made a set of "sorting" cards, 7 each of the
6 colors.

With Phil Laurence started a game of DIALEMMA using the 3,4,5,6,7
scoring strip. It worked fine. Decided on a rule that if one
player ends his move by turning an opponent's piece, the opponent
cannot start his move by turning that piece. Phil stopped after
I got 30 points to his 5. He said that he couldn't visualize the
upcoming positions.
Played DATA with Phil. Used two piles each. Object was to complete
3 horizontal rows and 5 vertical columns. Added a rule that at
the end of a move a player could place 2 unneeded "sorting" cards
in the discard and take one in addition to the two he is entitled
to at the end of his turn. Start with each player having 3
from each deck. Must play at least one of each on a turn, and
then draw 2 from each.
I won a very close one and we both agreed I've got it now.
Phil suggested the name COMPUTER BINGO.
Rcd. another "Publisher's Central Bureau" folder. They have a book
CHARGE: OR HOW TO PLAY WAR GAMES for $1. I'll get it.
