Rcd. [received] ''<u>THE GAMESLETTER</u>'' (#33 & #34 Vol. 8). In #34 <u>Don Miller</u>

mentions some magazines from Belgium. One has a

game <u>LE JEU DU LIESNARD BELLIQUEUX</u> (Liesnard being the name

of the inventor). He, Don, says it looks interesting and he

would like it translated.

Called <u>Jack Davis</u> and told him about the Xerox exhibit. He

may contact Ch.13 [channel 13] to see if he can buy an aural tape of

my segment on the Louise show. I'll bring down any clippings

I get for him to make repros. [reproductions] He'll send these to 3M

with a yearly report in June. He'll remind them again

about all my help in publicizing 3M games.

<br>We talked about <u>POINT OF LAW</u> and he and Audrey agree with

me that it is really not a game, and is very overpriced for

the idea of making up a model themselves. But things are

so hectic that they can't do it. They'd like to try it if

Lillian or Felicia will prepare a model. I suggested <u>Al Richter</u>

and Felicia had already thought of it. They will suggest supplying

Al with the materials and then giving him a cut of the

royalties for his labor. I'll tell him about it tonight and Felicia will call

him after she talks to Lillian.

<br>Bill is sending back Lillian's <u>GIRL TALK</u>. He thinks it is a very

strong item but doesn't think they can do it justice.

There is no mention of <u>LOTTERY</u> and Felicia will ask about

it in her return letter.

<br><u>Felicia</u> said that <u>Dick Harris</u> was in for a quick visit. He is

still interested in Lillian's <u>WHAT'S IT WORTH IN DOLLARS?</u> but not

ready to make a decision.

<br>Told Felicia about my call to <u>Bob Gellman</u> yesterday.

<u>Bob Hallowell</u> called. Altho he doesn't reallt like games much he

thinks that <u>XANDO</u> and <u>HEXOWORD</u> are great and he really enjoys

playing them. He asked if I could have six solitaire <u>GAME</u>s

ready for publication in the fall. I said that I had 2 well along

and that I am sure I could have 6 by the fall.

<br>He was talking to a salesman from the San Francisco area. He

told Bob that <u>Manny Lefkowitz</u> is saying that the p. and p. games

Thinking some more of my old idea for a <u>SAFE CRACKING GAME</u>.
