Two play and each controls three pcs. on one end of the
board. There are three "tactiles", each of a different shape,
and colored to match the three pcs. Players in turn hold a tactile in their fist
and the other guesses the color. If he guesses wrong the
other moves the color he held. If he guesses right no
piece is moved. As soon as any two pcs. reach the
center stars the round is over. A player scores one
point for reaching the center. A player loses one point
for not moving a pc. from the starting position and can
end up with a minus score. Play rounds until one player
has 5 points. (Fairly complete idea.)

Earl Perel called. He has applied for a government grant to
study garietric (spelling?) used of games and got back forms
to be filled out. He asked if I'd want to work with him
on it. Sure. He discussed it with Claude, who doesn't want
to quit his job but might fit in as a consultant. Earl also
is thinking of asking Wald and Arthur but I don't think
that that would be a good idea - too many different opinions.
We'll get together next week to discuss it further.
Earl wrote to S.W. Wynn about HEXAGO (see 3/18).
Went over the parts I brought back from Rochester. Put the
material on 4000 A.D. and DRUG ATTACK on shelf [26]. Put the material
on NOSTALGIA on shelf [14].
