16 SUNDAY - APRIL 1972
SECOND SUNDAY AFTER EASTER - 107TH DAY - 259 DAYS TO COME
Looked at the game DRUG ATTACK. Not much of a game.
Looked at the rules for SCRABBLE in the small set
I got with the 1966 catalog. There were some variations
given, including UN-SCRABBLE. Took the rules with me.
Took 4000 A.D., NEW TOWN - the board, DRUG ATTACK, and
NAPOLEON AT WATERLOO. Also two copies of AGOG.
Made a copy of the board for 4000 A.D. to keep with the
rules in case I don't get the package Rubbens claims
to have sent.
Herb Siegel called. Told me that he and Jackie would reach
Rochester before noon on Tuesday.

FOUR LETTER WORDS.
Played 4-hand DIALEMMA. They liked it altho it sometimes got a
little frustrating when you were just in position to complete
and it gets. broken up. Also some configurations were much harder to
complete than others.
Later thought of using 5 configurations instead of the
4 we used tonight. Place them on a strip in 5 positions numbered
from 3 thro 7. The player matching a configuration scores the
value of its position. When a car is removed all those of
lower value are moved up 1 position so that those that stay
around longer tend to become more valuable.

Gave Claude a check for $22.63 for 1st quarter EXECUTIVE DECISION
(adjusted for the overpayment in 2nd quarter 1971).
In "Berman Twins Dep't Store" Claude and I looking at games. He noticed
that "Created by Alexander Randolph" was on the SQUARE OFF box top.
