2 SUNDAY - APRIL 1972
EASTER DAY - 273 DAYS TO COME
Thinking of an idea for a p. & p. solitaire GAME. Play on
1 15 by 10 firld divided into 6 5x5 fields, numbered
from 1 to 6. Throw three dice and put marks in
any space in two of the fields thrown, starting with
A and, after 10 throws, ending with T. Then start in
a corner and throw three dice. Move a right angled
move using 2 of the 3. Then leave one die and throw the
other 2. Win by reaching all 20 letters in order. Mark
each space as visited. Lose if no move is possible and
not all of the letters have been reached. A 6 can be used
as a 6 or as a 0.
Called Claude and made a date for 4/13. He hasn't been
doing any work on games lately.
(cont. from 4/3) [4/4]
that I would be the feature guest on a game discussion. Jack
was annoyed about his going back on it, after taking the games.
I told Jack about the party for THE GODFATHER GAME and how the
games were grabbed.
They are noving in about a month or so, but are keeping their telephone
number.
I will call Jack with a report on the Xerox exhibit.
There were three telephone calls while I was gone, all men asking
for Mr. Sackson. They all asked when I'd be back. Dana didn't
get their addres names. // Marvin Katz telephone no. {362-1397}.
Marvin Katz called in the evening (the only one who did). He
has signed a contract to do a book for Stein & Day on the
game and toy industry. It is not an exhaustive study
(a gal has spent some 2 years doing one for Viking) but rather
vignettes of interesting personalities. He wants to include
Marvin Glass, me, and a chapter on MONOPOLY.
